My dad asked me to drive to the Greyhound station to pick up my aunt who was arriving from Vancouver BC. As I sat waiting, a bus pulled in from Eugene… and all these green-haired freaks started piling out. Some were dressed like comic book characters, etc. I was like WTF is going on here?
I was still living with my parents and awaiting on UW acceptance during c.c. I went up to Capitol Hill to see what all the ruckus was about. Here was a case in which the left wing and right wing populists Dazzler loathes were united. Bill supported dirty hippies engaging in Occupy Wall Street 12 years later. Zero regrets.
Occupy Wall Street is when all this definetly flipped. I was living in Ballard at that time and there were pro Ron Paul people on street corners waving signs everyday it seemed like. They probably got called racist or something and the rest is history.

I was a sophomore at the University of OREGON and could not be bothered with anarchists in Seattle….but I vaguely remember it being on the news.
Too much time spent chasing tail and ripping gin and tonics at Taylor’s to pay attention, I ‘spose….
A lot of the anarchists were from the Eugene chapter
Antifa is now pro globalization and pro Wall Street. What a time to be alive.

Might as well go out with a laugh
Not 99 but 2000.
Buddies went to see Rage Against the Machine mostly. I stayed home to get a bj from my gf at the time. Used to regret that.
One buddy took a rubber bullet and Rage for the machine has made me think maybe I made the right choice after all.
You could see the DNC for what it was then but I had no idea that so many people I grew up with being anti establishment would end up bootlickers.
From Neil Young to Howard Stern to Hollywood and the MSM all cowering in their basements demanding submission and forced injections.
I haven't moved
what about the tree people at cal
Did they ever achieve their goal
