They also have a shit ton of glyphosate in them. Same with quaker oats products. All trash.

Is this too controversial for the MAHA board?

We’ve ditched cereal for the most part. Kids have options of: Breakfast bars, yogurt, protein shake, or breakfast burritos that my wife likes to meal prep for the week. We’ve got a box of LIFE or something like that in the pantry somewhere for emergency situations but we actively try to push them to other stuff. All that shit we ate in the 80s is so fucking bad for you lol.

Trix are for kids. Chief ingredients - Sugar and Food coloring.

Community Note said it’s the Moderna vaccine of cereals.

What about Cocoa Puffs?

The Throbber fucking loves Life cereal. Mikey was wrong until he was right. Another guilty sin is frosted mini-wheats but that's toned done a bit.
There's this Trader Joe's cereal called Morning
WoodSummit that is surprisingly good - raisins, almonds, pinecone seed things. Goddamned delicious. -
The problem with cereal, other than most being awful for you, is that the cost per ounce is insane. I'm pretty sure it's cheaper to eat a couple fried eggs, sausage links, and toast.

My parents fed me grape nuts when I was a kid. I had to negotiate BIG TIME to get Kix into the pantry. My friends were all eating fruity pebbles and coco puffs and I was living with a couple of health nuts who owned a Nordic trak.
but they were mostly right. 90% of General Mills and Post cereals are straight up carcinogenic. We try to avoid it because I’d rather they load up on protein rich stuff before going to school as opposed to carbs and sugars. They’re mostly compliant with it so I’m not gonna try and rock the boat.
