Public figures like Musk have a very high hurdle to prove slander but Bowman would have to prove that he is a thief and Nazi rather than just using them as asinine bludgeons. The "Progressives" love capturing a still image of a video in which Musk was throwing his heart out to the crowd but it ridiculously lacks content…total fake news.

I consider myself pretty centrist and what the Far Left / Left is doing to Elon Musk is horrible. Sure, as a weirdo autistic guy he lacks empathy but nothing he is doing is felonious. I have a Bernie loving friend that still maintains that cutting USAID is "cruel" but why have taxpayers been funding silly things transgender clinics in India?

The Far Left also doesn't understand that if we don't cut as much fat as possible from outside of the entitlement programs, those will need addressing too. And don't tell me that they aren't entitlements because very few people put in as much in payroll taxes over their working careers as they pull out when retired. Taking more than you give is an entitlement.

They are also making some progress with the DoD. The DoD has failed numerous audits and cutting $500 million here, $500 million there adds up to tens of billions. If Musk / Hegseth hit their 8% worth of cuts, that will about to over $70 billion annually by the end of 2026.

I think Elon suing is more about the process than thinking he can win. Bowman is going to have to pay lawyers and be dragged through the legal system for at least a year. I think the “thief” slander is more actionable than the “Nazi” statement, as Musk has never even been charged with theft.

This shit with Elon is so dumb that it defies logic. Every Dem president in the last 40 years has also talked about government waste and even fraud. We all know that was just lip service to get votes as they, including the Bushes, used taxpayer money to enrich their cronies and donors.
