I signed up via Roku. It wants you to sign up through a TV provider. At the front it doesn't give any other option. To skip past that I had to click on a show, then it gave me the option to just sign up.
I use a Roku because it works better than the smart TV. I've never really looked at what the Roku channel has.
Right now I'm paying for subs for Prime, Netflix, Max, Disney/Hulu, and now Root. I also started a free trial to MLB Network that I need to remember. I have Fubo on suspend until May.
If I kept all of those (~$90) and let Fubo reactivate it's about $200 per month. If I drop Root and MLB and keep Fubo it's about $160.
The whole decision comes down to how badly I want to record Ms games so I can skip commercials. Maybe an external DVR? Are those a thing? Seems like they once were but I never messed with them.

I'm still overspending on Comcast, it's so comfortable and familiar.
Roku is chinteresting though since it has Bloomberg and the Smithsonian channel.
I was thinking about switching to YouTubeTV but it doesn't have Bloomberg and I watch that the most.
I'm rethinking. I didn't do my homework. There's no DVR functions. You can't pause, rewind, or record. Live with ads is agonizing to watch.

Cord cutting hasn't really saved me a dime.
