Reasonable compromise

Most Americans (including Trump) want to reduce the deficit and eventually reduce the debt. Why not let the tax cuts expire for the very top income bracket (would bring in about $25 billion more a year) and keep the IRS well staffed while augmenting their performance with AI to catch tax cheats? I have gathered for every dollar of increased spending at the IRS (enhanced by technology), it would bring in $2.25 to $3 in tax revenues.

Perhaps more important is the optics and perception that the Trump administration is willing to compromise, which could boost prospects for Congressmen and women he likes in the midterms.

    Trump tried compromise in V1.0.

Run it up. Leave no doubt.

The Dems locked in their midterm perception last night with their eye rolling and disrespect.

Throbber says we have to increase deficits and the debt because Dems are mean to Daddy.

    No

25 billion is couch change. Tax cuts for producers increases revenue and jobs

    Let's cut spending instead

Fuck compromise with those commie faggots.

You must have forgotten to include a decrease in spending in you “compromise.”

This is basically just “tax the rich” with a dose of “more IRS harassment.”

Also, an additional $25 billion in tax confiscation when we(?) are running a $1 trillion annual deficit is just a symbolic move that doesn’t do anything.

May as well tax unrealized capital gains on “the rich” annually if you want your plan to work. That would be amazing for 401ks as the markets tank.

Compromising is how you get to $37 trillion in debt. Reality is we have no idea what the proper tax rates should be until the full extent on inefficient waste and fraud is fully exposed.

If you live in a blue state and are in the top federal tax bracket your combined federal and state income tax on your marginal income approaches 50%. The government taking half of your next dollar isn't fair as it is. Punishing success and rewarding sloth limits success and increases sloth. Hardly a recipe for success. We don't have a tax problem we have a spending problem. IMO, we have already compromised. The truth of the matter is that the the very large portion of the rich are not cheating on their taxes. Some do, but it isn't prevalent unless your business is crime and its cash based. The army of IRS agents were going to end up chasing little things. The dentist who does some teeth cleaning in exchange for a plumbing upgrade isn't where the money is. Just look at what happened to Hunter Biden. He was broke ass until his "friend" paid off his IRS levy. Easy for an agent to write up delinquency but tough to collect it. The ads you hear for companies negotiating deals with the IRS for their clients isn't aimed at billionaires. The AI thing is all based on the IRS knowing what you do with your money. That's why they wanted to know all about the $600 you ran through your Venmo account. All that data compliance costs the private sector billions.

I remember the compromise when Biden ran through the trillion dollar green scam. Much concern about the deficit as I don't recall

I voted for change not business as usual. Trump has the momentum and the backing.

    Let's keep going

The only compromise should be putting democrat fraudsters in normal gen pop vs gitmo.

No. Throbber did not. Throbber said step on their motherfucking throat.

Compromise whether to clawback every fucking penny ever sent by USAID or just within the last four years of the Biden Crime Family.

The dems are at their weakest ever and I currently see no path for them to win back men in any significant number

Step on their throat until they can figure out a comeback plan
