This is for services already rendered. I agree with the majority in paying them.

FRom now on though, forensic audits on where the USAID money is sent and where it is distributed is a must.

Every penny accounted for as this is how Democrats, and also many Republicans, raise so much money for their campaigns.

It’s redirected back to them and it has to be ended.

Yes you should pay for services but the larger point is why is congress keeping it going

I’m willing to fund it if there are tax cuts for all brackets and strict auditing of how these grants are awarded and where the money for each is spent.

I’d have it so any group or NGO awarded USAID money for a project gets an automatic annual IRS audit and take a few thousands middle-class households off the radar.

I'm not. USAID has to go. NGOs have to go. No tax dollars. Kill it in congress

    We just did the audit.

I think there is a place for a scaled-down version and since it’s going to be funded yet again, as Massie points out, accountability should be the minimum expectation for where the money is spent.

It’s not going away for this year so may as well make it somewhat efficient.

Take it a step further. Business case provided by NGO in advance. Congress should give full discretionary ability to exec branch to evaluate and decide. They already have that, but why not make that 100% clear. This is super easy if we want it to be.

Ask them to do a front end business case and a backend post mortem as a requirement for any money and they would all go poof.
