Look, in full context I understand what the lady was trying to convey but holy shit at the inability to read the room here.
These people hate Trump at a level that’s almost unfathomable. If he took a stance against throwing puppies into wood chippers, I’m convinced a substantial portion of the new DNC base would take it up as a hobby.
I’ve never seen a hatred like this before. Toward the end, of 07/08 they hated W with an intensity I don’t think we’d see again for awhile but this completely blows that out of the water.

On the same day the Democrats had their top politicians release videos parroting each other, they also decided to have dozens of members hold up the same signs in a show of solidarity.
This is not how you convince people that you are not a cult. A bunch of partisan robots who hate Trump is the clear messaging sane people understood from these stunts.
