Edit: This is complete bullshit. In the workplace, if I send an email to a subordinate and don't get a response the first time, I send a second. If they still ignore me, I pick up the fucking phone. If they still fuck around, I'm standing in their office demanding an answer in person. Their choice whether they want to comply or work elsewhere.
