Credentialed Georgetown law professor argues that the Constitution doesn't give the President executive power over the executive administration agencies. Apparently, it's okay to have the President appoint the Head of the Department of Energy, have them confirmed by the Congress, but after that he should not be able to direct policy or personnel. Interesting. Sort of like there is nothing the President can do to root out fraud and waste in the government.

X forcing "the experts" to have to withstand criticism is really one of the most important developments of Musk taking over.

Running against DOGE is a solid move. Just tweak the messaging

You have to cut spending and increase taxes. I wailed on Fakebook back during Obama's first term when it was "only" 11 trillion or whatever and few cared. Now that it's way worse, people are shrieking. There's a h.s. acquaintance who works for USPS who is losing it. It's hemmorhaging $, what do you want them to do?
-
Fuck increasing taxes before all fat and fraud is at least mostly eliminated.
Raising taxes while running a $2 trillion annual deficit does nothing but fuck over small businesses.
Millions of taxpayers are finally awake and seeing how much corruption is in what they’re paying for, so raising taxes at this point is political suicide until we can trust where those dollars are being spent.
The paradigm has shifted in the last month.

Them squealing about it like stuck pigs has only made them even more irrelevant.
Imagine socialists objecting to giving working class people $5,000 tax refunds.

Yep. We need to understand what the baseline is minus fraud and waste. Then cut 20% from there and then have a discussion on taxes.
