If our QB's were ever able to get the ball off to him down the seam, it felt like there was a > 90% chance he was going to come down with it. He was better than our entire 2015 wr room by a quite a bit.

Mickens is a curious case. He put up numbers over time at UW but I can't picture really any plays he ever made. He got his rep as a slow fast guy because he always did all this dramatic gyrating and side moves whenever he got a pass. He got nine years in the league though so I think the QBs he had did do him a disservice and the coaches may have never known what to do with him.
