I don’t believe the line items are true. I think a lot of them were a running joke to see who could come up with the most absurd fake item to fund.

$20 million for Sesame Street in Iraq might be the winner. I wonder which Dem actually ended up with that money.

There’s a mix of legitimately good programs, clandestine activities that would horrify most framed as something else, and pure grift where money is just consumed by board members with maybe a golf weekend in Palm Springs for a strategy session where the only topic is raising more money next year.
