Fuck it. We beat 7 places. Woodin'hood should have made the list, Derek. Even if it is safe and home to the gainfully employed, it should be recognized for being super fucking boring. Although Kenny Easley lives there, so they have that going for them. @AtomicPiss.
Reasons offered across the board: crime, economis struggles and limited opportunity. Yakima also got the gang activity tag.
And Seattle nowhere to be found. @allofyou can eat me.

Everett sucks because it's in the convergence zone and rains more there than 20 miles south or north. Lynnwood thru Everett is miserable rain, and now overcrowded.

The people that made that list haven't been to central and Eastern Washington. The list would be full long before you get to anything that made their list. Even Bremerton wouldn't make it.
I guess there was a population threshold, but come on. Never heard of Ephrata, Sunnyside, Grandview, Toppenish, Goldendale,...?

Unincorporated Kitsap is pretty decent for the most part. I'm just outside of Olalla. Bremerton definitely sucks, but I think that city is going to change a lot over the next 20 years.

Interesting area there. I've given some thought to selling out of Seattle and buying somewhere in that general vicinity. Gig Harbor, etc. I like Vashon but have a problem with being on an island when I don't really have to be. It can be a pain in the ass. Love Orcas but no fucking way.
Agree with your take on Bremerton. Part of my thought process is that in 20 years anywhere near water on Puget Sound will be untouchable. Still some good value to be found in Mason County @dflea . I like Budd, Totten and Eld inlets. Don't know the other inlets as well but suspect there's a lot of good opportunity there.
All the shit talk about Seattle aside, and I really don't care or take it personally, but with all it's flaws it is a stunning city that offers a shit ton and I would like to have reasonable access to it. O-Town / Gig Harbor distance would be about the limit. So figuring out something around the Sound that is an easy trip to the city would be ideal.
The other consideration is the kids. If one of them ever needs to live here to work, it would be nice to maintain a Seattle residence for them to use. It's going to be like San Fran here pretty soon, where if you don't have a legacy real estate asset you're not going to get one unless you are a big money person.Analysis paralysis.
