Hoover absolutely trashed MLK Jr and I see idiots on X attacking MLK for the bullshit that Hoover made up. I have two close friends who are retired FBI. One was second in command at one time and unfortunately died last year. Both have told me that it is the very top that is political and not the rank and file and that they hate what top leadership has done due to their politics.

FBI was often terrible to work with. All college kids with no life experience except for a few and the military guys they hired to fill HRT etc. I remember getting suited up to hit a place for them 6 times. Every time we got out great on they canceled. We weren't happy.
