I suppose Californians could advocate that things the federal government now does be done at the state level, because California could afford to do those things for itself. That would be amusing mostly because of who would suddenly oppose the loss of federal power.

Hey moron, you said there would be no winner in a secession scenario, which is absurd. I responded that a sane USA would just overtake the new country of California before China. There is no way it remains a sovereign nation. Secession is an aggressive act of war and if you do live in CA, welcome to being a US territory.
