Quintessential Houston day
Fuck that place

fucking weather. Fucking DeBoer
-
Houston is some of the worst weather in the US, but still, any Texan shouldn't be engaging in weather shit talking.

It was kind of a good thing there was a roof on that stadium that night.
My CSB from that day. At the pregame deal, I entered the block of porta-cans and the open one was a handi-capable one. Normal sani-cans have that little urinal to the left, so I'm used to turning to the left and pissing in those things. Apparently the handicap sani-cans also have a plastic bucket like thing to the left that looks similar to the urinal. But of course, as anyone who uses the handicap sani-cans know, that is actually an extra toilet paper holder. So, while it looks like the plastic urinal, it holds piss like a toilet paper holder. Which means I had two shoes full of piss for the next 4 hours.
So I had that going for me. Which was nice. CSB.

This is as nice as it ever got that day. Ruined my shitty UW alpha boosts in the mud on the way back to the hotel.
Next day was amazing weather though although Houston sucks outside of their little brewery district.

Slogging through the mud after that game was fucking awful. We ended up just walking 45 minutes to our AirBnB instead of trying to fuck with getting an uber.

I went to the Sugar Bowel. Skipped Houston. Happy with my choice.๐๐

In hindsight, I really wish Iโd gone that route. Would have been a much more enjoyable experience.

I was there! Benefit of being the losing team was leaving the event with very little traffic as the Michigan fans meandered for the trophy presentation. Fuck that shit. Literally walked to the care in the lot, drove out immediately, took a right turn to the onramp and was at the hotel 20 minutes later. I'll say this about Houston, it does offer a lot of options for visitors, specifically with reasonably priced hotels. I went to Indiana this year and hotels in Bloomington were insanely high. In Houston, one need not stay in the downtown core, and getting to the game was just as easy. I heard the Uber situation was a cluster fuck. I know a very wealthy youtuber flew in a private jet, but thought getting to the game by uber would suffice. They didn't get to the game until halftime.
