Warm, dry air. I noticed that, too. Maybe Husky Stadium is like the Safeco (or whatever it's called) of NCAA stadiums for ball flight.

The QB scrambling is much better.
Although not as evident today, I think one could argue that the defense was better at tackling this year.

The defense was tackling early in the year, they were tackling better than last years team. For awhile. The OL got worse over the season. Red zone offense did improve. Denzel Boston still calling for a fair catch when he doesn’t need to.
