I saw that graphic. 79% or something crazy. It registered in my head because it was damn near 80. A huge number.

I haven’t gotten a flu shot in years. No concerns over it, per se. I’m just lazy AF.
-
Can you find that? I'd like to look at that study

I think the difference between groups is what would be considered acceptable risks in safety
You see it a lot in chemo where the drugs are very toxic (likely outcome) but they could cure or extend life (unknown outcome). People are willing to risk going through the known toxic side effects for a chance to improve their life whereas others would not take that risk and rather live the remainder of their days without toxic side effects (or the toxic cost of drugs)
I think the argument that'll eventually happen from this investigation is how much risk are people willing to take

If it pops back up in my timeline. I should have bookmarked it. Pretty sure I was reaching peak edibles at the time.
@pawz saw the same thing.

I have never gotten a flu shot. Also have never gotten the flu.

Seriously FUCK VANILLA
@whatshouldicareabout @PurpleThrobber
I definitely saw the graphic. It needed to be vetted and I didn’t have the time at the moment — which is also the reason I didn’t repost it in real time.
I’ll poke around and see if I can find it this morning..
EDIT: I could not find it again..

I don't believe you that you've never had a flu virus in your lifetime. Just saying…
-
If I have had the flu, it wasn't something I noticed or would say I was dramatically sick.
-
The best way to not have a virus I've found, is to just not take a test.
I would have never known I had Covid in 2021 were it not for that darned test.
