Think we'll hear anything from the Dazzler about a violation of our "norms?"

We have had Trump indicted for holding classified information in spite of being President and the ability to declassify anything. On the other hand, PIPS had classified information on an illegal server and was excused because she was stupid and didn't had no intent to evade the law (intent was not part of the criminal statute). Then the dementia patient had classified information in his garage and at Penn. But he was excused because he was non compos mentis. Neither were President with the ability to declassify.

The New York trials were based on converting misdemeanors into felonies on a federal statute that wasn't cited in the indictment, argued at trial or cited in the Judge's instruction to the jury.

Trump's pardons were based on selective indictments of associates who wouldn't perjure themselves or like Bannon who claimed executive privilege from testifying to Congress. None of the dementia patient dems who refused to testify were indicted. Or any of barry's.

I cast my first vote for Gerald Ford. Imagine how shocked I am by the fact the President has this pardon power. Kvetching about Presidential pardons is our norm.

Shocking that H defends a blanket pardon for people he's spent years defending

How common are blanket pardons for people not charged with a crime

    Don't hurt yourself spinning

How common is "retribution" as a campaign promise?

    Nixon hadn't been charged.

The Pardon Power "extends to every offense known to the law, and may be exercised at any time after its commission, either before legal proceedings are taken or during their pendency, or after conviction and judgment." — SCOTUS

What does that have to do with our precious norms?

Has any president blanket pardoned a group of people not charged or convicted?

    No

So you blame Trump because you're a fucking hack

Can't pardon state crimes I'm told. We'll put them in jail one way or another. Maybe you could volunteer to defend them after all you voted for them knowing full well they were dirtbag criminals.

God I love the fact that they are forcing folks like our resident dipshit to defend this.

    Classic.

Articles of Impeachment were already passed out of the Judiciary Committee before Nixon resigned. They would have certainly passed when they were brought up for a vote before the full House.

    He had been "charged."

Ford's Pardon for Nixon wasn't a blanket pardon for Nixon. Other than that, you nailed it as fucking usual Dazzler.

You're old enough to have voted for Ford? You are old as fuck. I thought fat people didn't live that long?

If they aren't guilty of committing a crime what are they worried about Dazzler? I thought no one was above the law.

The family-pardoned ambassador to France race should be a good one. Hunter has a chance if he can stiff Kushner in the ground game.

The democrats have become such a joke. They look and act like spoiled children. hh fits right in.

Schiff lied over and over to the American people. Was an integral part of the massive lie about Russian collusion. He literally lied and said he had proof. The man was just re-elected when he should be in prison for attempting to take the vote away from 71 million Americans. He was also the one who lied to that damaged woman Ford and leaked her letter which she specifically said she wanted kept anonymous. He tried to destroy a man and his family over a clear lie by a delusional woman. Of all the slime balls I have watched and/or met over the years in politics, schiff is in the top 5. Just a piece of human scum who's constituents must be the dumbest MF'rs on the planet. The corrupt POS biden is considering pardoning the piece of shit. It tells you all you need to know about biden and his pardons.

The rats see this as a free play. They falsely claim that the big bad wolf (Trump) is a bad guy who wants retribution (he is not that kind of leader and wasn't in his first term). Its a lie but it gets them to the end they want which is to pardon all the corrupt democrats so they can't be prosecuted. Their rat little people constituents fall for it and support it because they aren't particularly bright and they support corruption as long as it helps their political ends. Biden is seen as a conquering hero and the real bad guys get off scott free. If you think about it, this type of corruption is exactly why they lost power. It is their last act, and it is a corrupt one. It should surprise no one.

Served his sentence after being convicted of a specific crime.

You are really bad at this.

Haven’t been to SF in years. You seem oddly familiar with the gay scene there, Colonel Fitts.
