better be doable. OP and myself (others?) just question if fish can get the talent needed… he can get bodies, can he find a couple diamonds in the rough and then beat a couple teams for kids he shouldn’t be beating? If yes, then 10 wins better happen.
It's still going to be a young roster next year and you have Ohio St and Oregon at home who will almost assuredly have a talent advantage over UW (on paper).
I would think the lowest projection for wins next year would 7.5 at the moment and I'd personally set it at 8.5. I think there's room for that to bump up even higher.
Fisch's first full recruiting class is going to be better than Petersen's first full recruiting class
Fisch didn't have a full portal to work with in his Year 1 to mend the gaps in the roster that he inherited
Fisch's track record at Arizona showed significant progress from Year 1 to Year 2 and from Year 2 to Year 3 … he also showed an ability to identify talent and win recruiting battles to get very solid talent to Tucson for football (not easy)
If Fisch isn't able to actively win in the portal or in high school recruiting, it's going to be much more due to the lack of financial commitment of the Athletic Department and the donor base than it will be because he's not cut out for the job.

Yeah no shit. The guy who went from 4-8 to 25-3 wasn't worth keeping so we can pretend that Fisch isn't a moron
And of course if he were any good UW couldn't afford him
@Tequilla how the fuck can you set a floor at 8.5, maybe 7.5 and then come back and say you don’t understand the doubt? You just answered the question because that’s not good enough.
fuck stick should’ve had 8 wins this year, maybe 9 with a bowl victory so if you’re floor is 7.5, maybe 8.5, and you don’t have doubt then I don’t know what to say to explain this any differently.
No fucking way this monogram visor wearing tennis fag should not be able to figure it out and get to 10 wins… unless the finances just aren’t there - thanks Race.
If that’s the case then NO ONE will be the guy OR the one that will be the guy will do more with less but it was hard for that guy and he quit - those types don’t grow on trees.
Summing this up as if we don’t have the finances to play we’re fucked.

well money talks too, so yeah, UW is fucked
Poaching players from bottom tier Big 12 School > Poaching players from Montana State and Portland State
HTH
We do need some help in the portal for sure
But the path to being an 8-10 win team next year isn't really that hard to envision
Fisch said he was looking at 10-12 adds into the program … when I went through the needs on the roster I came up with 10
So yeah … it's doable
8 to 10 wins is doable? Holy fukal!!!!!!!!
Off season Big 12 championship already underway

Lol. 8 wins should be the floor.
Two games left Fischsticks. Make it happen
I liked 11 wins as the floor

End of story.
If this new guy goes 11-1 next year are you going to be able to afford him? Maybe offer him 8 mil?
Is @MonogramVisorWearingTennisFag taken?
We can't afford nice things
Tequilla is saying that DeBoer couldn't recruit but if Fisch can't recruit its UW's fault not his
But saying that UW fucked the program is a bridge too far
Thankfully we have 2 or three years of 7.5 wins to sort it out
By all accounts DeBoer was offered very good money to stay … he wasn't interested
I had conversations with people on the inside of the program before he ever left that there was real concern about getting him extended
The fact of the matter is that he viewed UW as a stepping stone to what he thought was bigger and better …
We'll see how that works out for him
That's because people inside the program are retards
