Watch the videos. Byrd is seriously dangerous with a firearm. His gun handling is atrocious, especially his trigger finger placement/discipline. There was no shooting investigation or review. Nancy blocked it as she was in charge. When a police officer is in a shooting a team from the DA's office rolls out and evaluates. Unless it's a pretty large agency the investigation is conducted by the county sheriff's office and evaluated by the district attorney's office along with their own teams observations as to whether it was justified. Plus internal department review. Anybody and everybody that was at the scene is interviewed extensively by all of the above.
