What the fuck is this? Big 10 starter? Have you seen the QBs in this conference this year? It's a true freshman playing behind the worst offensive line I've ever seen and his pass catchers after WR1 are guys who should be depth guys.
Not ready to crown his ass yet but good lord.

My only concern is I have yet to see him complete a pass downfield. Seems crazy athletic and is a gamer, but at some point a quarterback has to throw the ball. I also have seen Rogers complete a disappointingly low percentage of passes that travel more than 20 yards through the air, so at least Williams offers a running threat. If he can pass as well, this is a no-brainer and I'm officially pissed.

I mean, for all the people talking him up… what is that based on? I agree with the comment above that we haven't seen him go downfield at all. Yeah, he looks good throwing the ball sideways but is that all he has? If he was that good I feel like we would have seen more in his game than what we've seen so far.

To those of you who say he can't throw downfield - seems like he could in high school. The tape doesn't lie. Chances are he's developed a bit. We haven't really asked him to do that.
To those of you who say he's too small - he'll be stronger next year.
Fucker is fast and knows how to run. Nobody debates that. His presence on the field opens up the offense big time, especially when it's not just for a gimmick play. Recruit another guy just like him. This might be the way to wreck the B10. Rather than match them in their own game, play a different game. Run-focused but with tempo and dual threat QB.

We lose last night if he doesn't come in. The whole game changed. This is not the first time we've seen that, this year. He could have made a difference against the cuog and the scarlet knights but Fisch couldn't go there - Portal in a hire-a-qb, and you best use him or you aren't ever going to get another one on your watch.
Shit season but we have some hope. Fisch can ethically say he gave Rogers a chance to the next portal QB and can turn the keys over to Demond against Oregon. The team will be fired up…maybe we don't get clownstomped. Fuck oregon. Timing for the change could be bad-ass actually. Team has 2 weeks to prepare and will be very fired up.

Agree that he has yet to complete anything vertically down the field. If he can't do that he is worthless. Great quickness in short space, but not a guy who will run away from defenders. Still the most mobile QB since Stanback, probably.
