Since there's very little combination of team has top level talent and a coach that has proven they can win big games that's not bad money to try and get. Georgia is really the only one and they have two losses and Sloth from Ice Age playing QB for some reason.
Oregon has the roster to do it. I just don't think they will. Lanning needs more time in the oven. He isn't winning 3 neutral site games back to back to back in the playoffs. That would be out of character for him
It's true that Bama and Georgia don't have the multi-first round picks on both lines they have used to dominate everyone the past 15 years. Unfortunately Ohio State is probably the best chance to stop Oregon. Georgia and Alabama if they can avoid another loss and play well can still beat anyone. Texas has shown me nothing yet.
Well, they were playing Ohio State. People don't tend to dominate them statistically. Pretty even stats was the point that may have gone over your head.
The last sentence is not the sentence in dispute. I agreed with you. It's hard for anyone to beat Buck twice.
The sentence that is in dispute is the one in which you proclaimed that Ohio State should have beaten Oregon in Autzen. If we're talking about what should have happened, rather than what did happen, then to be fair Oregon left points on the table that would have required Buck to get more than a field goal to win. Oregon was a little sloppy, and spitty, in that game and helped Buck more than Buck helped Oregon.
You can watch it a million times and the facts won't change.
I would normally agree with all of that, but I have serious reservations about Georgia's QB, who absolutely shit himself against Texas and has kept shitting himself since then. Gotta have a QB who doesn't do that to get all the way, even with a ferocious D line.
I don't trust Ryan Day to win anything. Decent chance Ohio State and Oregon play two more times. Great news for people who like guys who talk in fake voices born on home plate.
Deboer knows QBs. If nothing else, he knows that position and he knows when he's got someone who can't be trusted to throw it in the clutch. He's the polar opposite of Penix: built like a brick shit house vs. built to break; can run like an elite RB vs. can't run much at all; chokes under pressure vs. poise under pressure. He can't put the game in Milroe's hands in the passing game like he could with Penix, but when you are that athletic, it's not about being poised and not choking; rather, it's about doing what's natural. Running backs don't choke. QBs do. Deboer has made Milroe a RB. Smart move.
DeBoer is becoming the best team in the SEC this year. I think the chances they win the whole thing are high, and he and Smart are the only 2 coaches out of the big 4 contending teams anyone would have confidence in.
Georgia is quite possibly not that good, because none of us know if Texas is good. At a minimum Georgia has a questionable QB and possibly a beat up team. But with a couple of weeks off before the playoff they could get time to heal up and be really dangerous. And they have the coach who has done it before.
tOSU is constrained by Ryan Day, their QB and their O Line's injuries.
Oregon is in good shape as it stands and Lanning is better than Day.
It's seems likely that of these 4 teams at least two of them will be on the same side of the bracket (1 and 5 seed), and one might be on the opposite side if they win the SEC. But it is entirely possible 3 of them are on the same side of the bracket.

I'm going full doog. Anything to stop duck
DeBoer v Lanning
I've seen the movie
I’m gonna go with Michigan
I’ll take Bama for ‘25 though

Lanning should've lost to Ohio State at home.
I don't think the Ducks are capable of winning 3 neutral site games to win a natty.
Oregon is as deep as anyone. The portal really thinned out the lines at Bama and Georgia. They are no longer miles ahead
I know you don't actually watch games but Oregon is as good as anyone this year
BONEM
the second sentence is plausibly true and I probably agree.
the first sentence is not. Oregon is the team that left points on the board; Ohio State is not, and was helped out a bit.

Those are pretty great stats for playing at Autzen.
I watched that game and Day out un-clutched Lanning.
I don't think Oregon beats Ohio State on a neutral field

DeBoer going full running quarterback may be the thing that wins it for Bama

the sequels were better

DeBoer wants to meet Trump. Didn’t want to meet Biden.

And don't look now but the playoffs may be Prime Time. CU wins out and they're in
Have a feeling Ute is going to fuck them though
