My own personal opinion:
Calling everyone a racist is where the American liberal movement jumped the shark. The welfare state, tax and spend policy, socialism, guns, military spending, foreign policy, amount of government in your life, and even immigration … all that shit is debatable among rational adults. But the culture wars and "you're a racist/homophobe/transphobe/xenophobe if you don't agree with me" and all the other speech policing and identify politics crap is precisely what chased centrists like me to the right; and it's what caused us all to recognize in them their fascism.
A wise old poster once said in these very forums: "if everything is racist, then nothing is racist." Of course, he's 800 years old, so I expect him to be wise.

Great points. Leftards think most of us posting on the Tug are racist bigots but when pressed can't say why. The real answer is that leftards consider any support for a closed and secure border to be racist xenophobia, that if you think people should be hired or admitted to colleges based on merit and that DEI is actually racist and unconstitutional you are a racist and failure to fully support the tranny agenda is bigoted. But, none of our leftards will actually come out and say that they fully support the dementia patient/Headboard agenda or which part of that agenda they don't support and why. Soccer duck claimed that we can't know what the Headboard's position is on the tranny agenda.

I don't think it's a big disagreement. Most of the right supports Israel's right to exist and thinks that our funding of Iran was a huge mistake. We wouldn't need to be supplying Israel with weapons if we didn't help arm Hamas and Hezbollah. There is a fringe out there like Tucker and Candace Owens that seem to have caught some anti-Jew fever but I don't see a lot of it in Republican candidates for national office.
We should support Israel by simply getting out of their way. That’s all that is needed to wrap this shit up.

I'm quite serious when I say this: I have been making a mental checklist of the people in my circle who are on the wrong side of this issue. They are permanently outside the creepy circle of trust and there's no coming back. Seriously. I won't associate with people that stupid unless I'm stuck with them by blood. And if it's any further out than aunts and uncles, fuck them too. I don't need dumb fuck cousins in my life.
But the right is mostly aligned with Israel, and those that aren't on board can join the dumb fucks on the left that don't understand that support for Palestinian Arabs, who literally no Arab-majority country wants, is support for A LOT of bad shit, including the shit over which they obsess over all else.
