I actually have to hope that is schtick. Maybe he just knows the Coug would get plungered so bad in the playoff that it almost wouldn't be worth it.

It's mostly schtick. When I have periodically chatted with him over the years, he'll talk about certain Husky players and coaches that he likes and roots for, along with the ones he wishes to see fail.

Interestingly enough, despite their record, no one seems to be talking about the cuogs. There was the post apple cup bump when cuogs dusted off their gear and wore it proudly. However the wins over the MWC haven't quite created the buzz of say doing the same in the old Pac 12. Oregon State is quickly positioning itself to be the worst team in the revamped
MWCP12. -
