Anyone who has lived or stayed for long periods of time in a foreign country knows what tariffs have done to made in the USA products. My South American co-workers tried everything imaginable to purchase their electronic gifts and necessities here in the US and get them shipped back to their South American homes without detection and extreme "tariff" taxation. In Bogota, a Ford Focus sold for $65,000 back in 2012. You could have bought that car for less than $20K here. In Portugal, an American built Mustang sold for 95K back in 2008. A BMW there sold for less than half.
Tariffs seem to be working fine for foreign countries. hh has found a nice liberal source who is trying to make points against Trump by lying his ass off.

Business income taxes are a cost of doing business, just like rent or interest on business loans. They all factor into the cost of the product sold. Our mythical MBA doesn't seem to understand this basic principle. Somehow not surprising. The dazzler supports increasing business income taxes because ….? Tariffs instituted to insure fair trade are somehow different because ….?
