Seems like you were perfectly fine with it when you “bought” Penix from Indiana.
Speaking of Indiana…
-
wasn’t Penix like top 10 in NIL with a bunch of it coming from futures and other Husky booster affiliates? Kid with zero ties to the state or the school?
isn’t it true that UW doesn’t sniff 3 wins over Oregon, the wins over Sark and the natty try without Penix, who was just as much a rent-a-player as anyone?
I’m assuming you were on board last season.
what am I missing here with the moral outrage, which is starting to become a punchline around here?doesn’t everyone who is serious about winning do this?
-
I understand your point, but 0regon ain't beating Georgia. Kirby is pissed off and his team seems to be too.
-
Penix followed a coach he had prior experience with. His NIL was after he played here a year already. 1-3 players isn’t a bought team unlike more than 1/2 of Oregons. Regardless, I don’t give a shit and don’t have to explain myself on a UW fan board. Fuck Oregon. Fuck Phil Knight. No one cares about WSU. FYFMFE.
-
Oregon ain't winning no natty with that team.
But their odds will continue to be far better than ours, not even close.
-
Oregon has to win 3 games in a row in a playoff. It ain't happening. The doogmen folks think it will and that DeBoer was going to stay here once Sexton became his agent. These doogs are too doog to understand that as soon as DeBoer hired Sexton he was gone.
-
like last year, there’s no dominant team this year. In fact the top 10 has been ridiculous this year. Oregon dropped to 9 and is now 1. When has that happened? Especially in the first half of the season. Georgia looked great but lost to the same Alabama team that lost to Vandy. Oregon has a legit shot this year - as good if not better than we had last year. We shit the bed. Here’s hoping Oregon steps on its dick.
-
I disagree, we? were closer to winning the natty last year than Oregon's odds this year — we know why we shat the bed.
My guess is National Champion will be an one loss team this year — I still like Ohio State's odds better than Georgia and Oregon will likely lose to one of them in the playoffs if not the National Championship game.

you don’t wanna see Indiana on a neutral field. You just don’t.
