We have to hope and pray that Demond is the guy. That’s the only way we’ll be able to attract top talent in the portal after this disaster. It’s not fair to him but it is what it is.
Sadly this is pretty much it. One of the problems is this team has way more seniors than you would think, Coleman leaves early (and barely plays anyway) and I wonder if Boston leaves early.
I really like Demonds' game, he's almost like a video game player I recruited in NCAA CFB 1999 from SoCal. Not tall but electric runner, strong arm, and pretty accurate.
Coleman goes and Boston stays. Boston needs to put on 10 pounds of muscle to be a complete player (he got pancaked while trying to block an Iowa safety) and have a second year of high production. He could be a 2nd or 3rd round pick if he does but would likely be a 5th or 6th if he left after this year. Why not get paid NIL money to stick around and get a degree too?
Yep. Versus Michigan we started 16 Seniors plus Coleman. Add current class of 26 High School kids plus Transfers of 8-10 which is new reality of cfb and we are going to have easily 45 new guys on roster next year which isn't much less than the 50 ish this year.
welcum to the new college football. Only guys not getting completely gutted and fucked yearly are the perennial top 5, maybe top 10 teams. Udub isn’t that.

Next year is going to suck, too.

At the same time, 46 new players a new head coach.
Who knows what 2025 will bring. Could go either way
With 8 TDs in 7 games, he gone.
Either way, it'll be interesting.
We know if it's fisch and his staff, the team is going to be retarded again.
I’m helping Demond navigate the portal so don’t worry about that.
Doogs will accept that players leaving st a greater frequency is “just the reality of college sports now” and perpetually be happy with 7-8 wins.
Book it.
Coleman is good but he plays like 12 downs a game. Give me Dylan Johnson and his 1.4 legs any day
It's fisch not Coleman.
But yeah, I'll take DJ and his 1.4 legs WITH Coleman.
Under fisch, they'll share 20 carries between them anyway.
I think we've seen Coleman take himself out enough to know he's snap counting himself but who knows
I think there's a chance he's already told Fisch he won't be here next year
Great so run him into the ground
Softy was in full apologist mode after the game.
"HEY PAL. IT SUCKS TO LOSE. I GET IT. BUT THERE ARE 50 NEW PLAYERS. WHEN YOU HAVE 50 NEW PLAYERS, YOU DONT WIN MANY GAMES."
Next year it will be
"HEY PAL. LOOK AT HOW MANY SENIORS YOU LOST LAST YEAR. YOU HAD A TON OF EXPERIENCE THERE. YOU CANT WIN WITH INEXPERIENCED PLAYERS."

I honestly don’t see how Boston leaves
