18 fucking points. But FOX crew is slobbering over the Rutgers defense

Just goes to show how much of a shit coach Fisch is.
-
How much of a fuck up Rogers is.
-
I must have missed Rogers being the OC. Rogers was fine and has been every game.
-
He's fine until he fucks up and does stupid shit that makes you lose.
-
Some of his passes today looked slow and wobbly, like the miss to Jackson in the back of the end zone on 4th and goal.
Also 2-12 on 3rd down is never fine
-
Rogers is like number 9 or 10 on the list of reasons why this team has lost
-
Anybody that thinks Rogers is better than Browning can fuck off. His arm is slightly stronger, but Browning is more accurate, mobile, and situationally intelligent. And Rogers isn't working with Boticelli and… I can't even remember the other guy's name, which says it all.
Maybe we've been spoiled by the Penix thrust, but Rogers lacks the velocity and tight spiral to hit that stick route on 3rd down. Just like with Browning/Boticelli/Fuller (just remembered his name), I see 3rd and long, and I know it's safe to go grab another beer or piss because I'm not going to miss anything good. He doesn't have the arm strength to just fit it in there when you really need him to.
Rogers is a game manager that came in clutch one out of twenty times in that game (pulling out of a sack and hitting a nice throw) and shitting the bed the other 19. And even some of his completions were high or off a little, and his overall 3rd down/4th down/goal line game was worthless.
THAT BEING SAID, I agree that he's down on the list of reasons you lose. Kicker hits one of three, different game. Dumb fuck doesn't go full retard and run onto the field when play is live, Huskies win. RUN THE FUCKING BALL on the 2, and Huskies win. Don't take a penalty before surrendering a huge TD, and maybe a different game. I can think of SO MANY absolutely retarded moments in that game that Rogers gets a full pass. He's not the guy that's going to put the team on his back against a good team, but he's sure as fuck good enough to beat fucking Rutgers if 81% of his teammates aren't eating glue. He's not great but solid.

Rogers wins 11 games at Oregon, rather easily.
-
I'd buy that Oregon probably keeps him ahead of the sticks well enough to make that true.
-
Oregon also wouldn't sub him out 9 times a game
-
This.
Nothing more, nothing less.
-
Rogers isn't going to win us games we are supposed to lose but our problem right now ain't him.
-
Maybe 10 games.
But he def ain't winning the Big Ten title nor 2nd round of playoffs.
-
Had Deboer stayed (and assuming he can convince Parker and the two guards to stay, WIll Rogers is good enough placeholder to get 8-9 wins and be the placeholder for Mack or whoever Kalen brought in.
-
if Rogers is the game manager why are we putting it in his hands in critical moments?
-
Losers are going to blame the missed FGs, bad luck etc.
When your RB has 9YPA, 150yds, and you're somehow still stalling on offense, scoring just two TDs against buttgers…
This team is as badly coached and undisciplined as the Lake team
-
-
This, especially the lack of discipline. This team has some talented athletes, in fact they have been the more talented team in every outing so far this year. The lack of attention to detail and moronic penalties that have killed drives, given the opponents leads, reversed positive plays, … the list goes on and on, has been the primary problem.
-
Did Rogers run onto the field to celebrate before the play was over?
Did Rogers block a defender below the knees outside the tackle box?
Did Rogers have a late hit/unnecessary roughness penalty?
Did Rogers miss 2 FGs?
-
I struggle with rooting for this team. I’m assuming anyone good is going to transfer. The ‘team’ piece seems lacking. Disgusting lack of discipline and accountability (I don’t need a lot just enough to know not to run on the field or tackle using facemasks). The OL sucks.
-
I actually thought the O line was pretty good yesterday and has shown nice improvement. In fact every position group played well yesterday including the QB. The problem is the personal foul penalties. We probably score 17 more points without them and that doesn’t even include going full retard on the blocked field goal.
-
Rogers brought the Mike Leach curse of big stats with him
-
The stats that matter are points, third down conversions and wins
He's oh for three
-
That receiver/QB disconnect is unforgivable. Jackson 4th and goal pass was tipped
-
You guys just don't get it. In this system you have to learn how to lose before you can learn how to win. It's a proven formula from Fish's time at Zona.
UW is just reaching the master level at finding ways to lose and are ahead of schedule. There should be a lot of winning coming up...sometimes soon.
-
Rogers is okay, but good for one fumbled snap under center per game. The NFL will have noticed that.
Fisch's play calling is shit.
The defense has been pretty good, considering health and departures.
-
carroll and belichik have actually been doing fantastic jobs aside from the occasional on field felony
-
Belichick is doing a master class with our defense given the talent he's got on the roster. It's the offense's inability to finish and the ill-timed penalties that are concerning.
-
Stats are for losers
-
They are, but it's better to put up these big of stats than Jimmy Lake or Sark on the road stats
