What a tim to be alive, man. This may be the most depressing poasts I've seen. Well done!

16 penalties and goal line option to short side of the field with a QB not suited to that against Cuog is an abomination

Yes, I was there.

To that I agree, the performance was an abomination. The loss itself though wasn’t.
Which on field performance was worse all things considered, this or Michigan in January? -
2022 Montana
2022 ASU
2008 Apple Cup
2006 Stanford
2012 ASU
Are some special losses that come to mind. Also you guys apparently lost 10-7 at home to Hawaii back in the 1970s
This loss is bad but it ain’t in that group.

Maybe this is just the apathy towards CFB in general, but I don't think this would make my top 20. Losing to Coug in 1988 and missing a bowl pissed off a young Bill way more. Getting humiliated in the snow in '92 was worse, too. Montana 2021 was the worst loss in program history. 2017 Scum Devil sucked more than this.
It was a bad game. I only watched about 40 plays, if that. Fish is still a good coach. Calm down.

This is a run of the mill, shitty loss. But it doesn’t even crack my top 25 since I started following the team in 1990.
If DeBoer 4th down trickery failed last year it would have made my top 5 rather easily.
Football is a funny thing like that.

Cuog was super drunk after the game, even going out of their way to honk and scream at cars with purple license plates, but this was just a non conference loss to us?.
If this game was the difference between going to a shit bowl or not I'd rather skip the bowl.

Looking back it’s kind of shocking how bad the 2021 season was.
loss to MontanaSwept by NW schools including BTFO in the Apple Cup that ended the Sam Huard hope train.
DeBoer was just that good of a coach and Penix that good of a QB to have them where they were 1 year later.

I understand where you're coming from but yeah don't think it makes the Top 25. Like the 82 Apple Cup seems easily worse with what was on the line.
This kind of felt like the 2012 Apple Cup and really to me feel like a Sark UW team that goes 7-6 losing to a team that will go 5-7. Which is what WSU probably would do if the Pac-12 was still the same.
