I’m doogish on Fisch. I think he gets 8 and a bowl win this year.
-
7-6
I need to see some line play on both sides before I adjust expectations. Plus Fisch and co don't seem like a guarantee to have their reads down starting out.
-
8-5
With so many unknowns between the players, the coaches, and the new conference, I'm curious to see who is optimistic vs pessimistic about Fisch
Count me as pessimistic now, with a 7-5 record in the season plus a bowl win
-
8-5
It’s gonna look really ugly most of the season. Not ugly great, like last year. Just ugly.

9-4
Here's me:
- Weber State W 38-13 - Choppy but a comfortable win against a middling Big Sky opponent. No Montana.
- Eastern Michigan W 31-17 - They've become a good MAC program and this scares me but a win.
- Washington State W 28-24 - Continuing this game is AIDs. Escape with a win over a greased Cuog.
- Northwestern W 27-14 - Good game to work out kinks against a try hard team with a shitty offense.
- at Rutgers W 23-21 - Shit fest on the east coast on a Friday night. UW should be better enough to win close.
- Michigan L 10-28 - Some excitement early but UW is rebuilding too much to make it too close.
- at Iowa L 13-27 - Heard this game is at 9am. Terrible game after the Michigan showdown.
- at Indiana W 37-31 - As close as a get right game as this team can do coming off a bye.
- USC W 41-34 - USC, and their defense specifically, could be a disaster and a great opponent right here at home to build momentum.
- at Penn State L 7-35 - This team is probably getting blown out by someone. This is the likely candidate.
- UCLA W 34-24 - They suck, don't care about football, and are coming to Seattle in mid-November. Win.
- at Oregon L 17-27 - Fisch fucks and knows this is a big game. Just too tough of a situation to win though.
- Win mediocre bowl game
-
8-5
7-5 with a bowl win. The lines just aren’t there yet.

Too many ?’s on the O & D lines, plus the Stevie B question which I think is the major one. I just have a bad feeling he’s in way over his head. Kinda reminds me of Tosh down south w/ out the HC probably being the caller and the elite recruiting.
Do think Fisch is the guy but 2-3 years off. -
9-4
I dunno man. Steve is pretty low on my list of concerns. He was taught by the GOAT, who just turned down an NFL job to help Steve this year.
-
10-3
#4 over Oregon this year
Cook it
-
8-5
I really want Fisch to fuck shit up but he needs to PROVE IT. Until then:
- Weber State W Definite Win
- Eastern Michigan W Definite Win
- Washington State W Likely Win
- Northwestern W Likely Win
- at Rutgers Toss Up. I am glad Rutgers plays at VaTech the week before
- Michigan L Definite Loss
- at Iowa L Likely Loss. Iowa at least plays tOSU the week before
- at Indiana W Likely Win
- USC Toss Up
- at Penn State L Definite Loss in WHITE OUT conditions. However, they do play tOSU the week before and if they lose could be sleep walking
- UCLA W Likely Win, but I am less optimistic than others, since UCLA plays back to back Fridays and we play Saturday in @Logisticsally challenging State College, possibly with a 7pm EST kick.
- at Oregon L Definite Loss
I'm tossing in a Bowel win I guess.
-
10-3
this is good. Figure out a way to not get rapped in the whiteout by pedo state or keep from getting cobbed in the anus by Iowa and we’re at 10.
Figure it out fish. -
6-7
the inexperienced offensive line and depth suck until they don't.
can they pull it together? sure. but they need to get a lot better and pray to the football gods and the devil that no one gets hurt.
-
9-4
The team has a QB, receivers, corners and running backs.. what else do you think that you need ? The rest is smoke and mirrors
-
10-3
I like your negative new fish but you’re not really new… are you.
-
4-8, 3-9, 2-10, 1-11
I doubt there are any "definite wins"… I predict a hard takeoff
-
8-5
Here are the results from Day 1 of Fall Camp

16-0 (National Champions)
It almost worked last year!
Honestly probably 7-5.

Petersen was over valued after the 2016 run. DeBoer was undervalued after Lake
Hope Fisch is too

I am on the fence between eight and nine regular season wins. For the losses, I have Michigan, Penn State, and Oregon. I think we lose one of USC or Iowa. And let's say we beat the cougs again in a bowl game.
-
9-4
The former Pac 12 teams are all still tied to the old Pac bowls so I don't think we can get matched up. I could be wrong though.
-
8-5
We likely won't be rematched against cuog in a bowl since those bowls match a Pac-12 team with another conference, meaning that either UW or cuog would take up one of the slots but not both.
For example, the Alamo Bowl is still Pac-12 vs. Big 12, but they likely won't pick any of the 4 corner schools.
-
9-4
For some reason went down a Petersen rabbit hole last night. My god they underachieved 2017-19 with a cherry schedule. I don't think those teams were natty caliber but they should have basically been able to be Oklahoma, coming out of a second rate conference and at least getting a participation trophy.
-
9-4
I also feel like bowls like to avoid rematches and they have a million times more freedom than what they used to so they can easily avoid them. An Apple Cup rematch in a different state would be pretty hilarious though and an interesting and appealing game for a bowl.
Which got me thinking, once the BCS started, outside of like the Rose Bowl, wouldn't it have made a ton of sense for college football to just have bowls go down the line and pick the most-interesting games they could?
-
9-4
We? would no doubt get a Sun Bowl vs greased up Cal/Stanford.
-
8-5
so we’ve never been within 1 of the win total. Either under by 2-3 or over by 2-5.
Yikes. 10-2 is a playoff team.
6-6 or worse is fire Fisch. -
8-5
5 "for sure" wins in Weber St, Eastern Mich, WSU and NW at home to start the season, and a loss @Indiana had better mean the team plane crashed in Lake Michigan.
5-0
At Rugters, USC, UCLA are season difference makers. Say 2-1.
7-1
(I know this isn't in order)
Michigan, @Pedo, @No Nattys = 0-3.7-4.
@Iowa? UW won't be favored.
7-5.
Sun Bowel? 8-5.
Beat Iowa, nothing else matters = 9-4.
/shrug -
9-4
Iowa is the kind of slow footed, benefited-from-an-ass-division, people-like-them-for-no-logical-reason, corn-fag team that a West Coast school would come in and beat with superior skill players rather easily.
-
9-4
UW apparently asked for the Penn St whiteout game when it was originally just going to be Big Noon Kickoff that weekend.
I don't know if that means that we?re going to get blown out by 30 and look stupid, but I know that neither Fisch nor his staff is afraid of Franklin. Only Chris Petersen lives in fear of that guy.
