Not that I want Mariota to get injured

This abysmal team will not make the playoffs and Mariota will be gone after this year. As vile as this thought may be, If there's no hope to pull it off and get to the playoffs, I can only conclude that it would be in Oregon's best interest that Mariota gets injured (not enough to ruin his NFL career, but enough to sideline him for the rest of the season) so as to completely expose the coaching staff and turn up the burner to the fullest notch. Let them light themselves on fire this season instead of next, in order to send them all packing sooner rather than later. The ridiculous experiment of hiring a trio of inexperienced clowns at the 3 most important coaching positions has been a stunning failure of epic proportions.

I don't think you appreciate the mess that Chip left.

That's fucking stupid. Mariota will continue to put up great numbers in losses, just like he did against Wazzu and UA. I hope he does so he gets paid like he deserves in the nfl

It's a matter of when, not if.

If you can't see that Helfie needs_more_cock_time to get his guys in there, then no one can help you.

If Nike's bored of directors can't see that this program is in decline, you've got way bigger problems anyway. Mariota doesn't need to get hurt for anybody who knows anything to see that Oregon's time at the top is done. Thing is, firing Helfrich won't do you one bit of good unless you somehow hire Chip Kelly back. He made the whole thing go, and he's among the small handful of best coaches this conference has ever seen. If you're trying to fire Helfrich looking for another situation like you had before, you'll be disappointed. Chip Kelly is a once in a generation type coaching talent, and Oregon lucked into him to begin with.
