Norway exports oil, makes money hand over fist, and most of them drive EV's.

Norway has/had a massive government subsidy and incentive program for electric vehicles which makes our incentives look like peanuts. You should also take a look at Norway on a map and you will notice some distinct differences between Norway and the US. I will give them credit for drilling like underwater badgers. If you want to buy an EV, feel free. Just don't expect me to pay for it.

There’s really no reason that the US govt couldn’t follow Alaska’s lead and send every fucking citizen a dividend check on oil production.

Coal hanging in there despite Ern's view. Oil and gas by far number one. Green gaia religionists want coal and oil and gas eliminated as energy sources in the next couple of decades. So, the 8% renewables to replace the 92% that the greens hate. They have no actual plan how this is to be accomplished, just that it will be cheap and green and make them feel good.
