The US Government hates you

JFC that’s embarrassing

I legit think our foods and the obesity thing is one of the top issues in the US.
It’s also why I think wegovy and the like are complete game changers. -
Yeah, just colon cancer.
I've never understood how drinks like soda haven't gone down to a niche thing, like cigarettes. They're even worse than the donuts. And monster energy drinks and all that are still everywhere too.
I saw a guy at Costco in his 50's/60's with a grocery cart overfilled with Dr Pepper. I wanted to vomit all over his face and then call him an asshole. Personal freedoms and all that but fuck off asking for healthcare with that lifestyle.

I know a lot of you folks hate Kennedy but he is the only candidate speaking out about corporate capture and chronic disease. The two go hand in hand. Big AG/Big Food (Kraft, Nestle, Tyson etc.), BIG Pharma and the insurance companies will continue to make oodles of money from this "finding" while Americans get fatter and fatter and sicker and sicker. Left? Right? Doesn't matter the majority are monetarily invested in these lies continuing.

Don’t fuck with my maple bars.
Gave up soda years ago.

The government pretended to care about everyone's health a couple of years ago. Then they closed gyms and Krispy Kreme was considered essential. The government can fuck off forever.

It is the top issue. Obesity is the number one indicator to nearly every cardiovascular problem in the US. It kills more people than pretty much everything.
One of the things I supported from the Obama admin was Michelle’s school lunch initiatives. Of course the GOP attacked it because that’s all we do now is attack anything and everything that flows from the other side of the aisle.
Breakfast and lunch in primary public school needs to be free and it needs to be healthy. It shouldn’t be that hard.

The last sentence is my problem. Anyone who willingly and knowingly costumes quantities of junk that will give them medical problems shouldn't be allowed taxpayer welfare. Smokers and lung cancer or heart disease, fat people who eat junk food and get diabetes, etc.

Less than a year ago, this was by published at pubmed/NIH.
Biased, allegedly.

The original article. They use a bullshit argument that only Dazzler would go along with that “ultra-processed” was never adequately defined.
