UW coaches records vs. Oregon since 1975

Did they have a bye week beforehand, like they have half the time?
-
Yes, and on top of that, UW played at UCLA, which is a long road trip for cfb. No way a serious conference sets up a big time rivalry game like that. To prove I'm not overly doog I've gone through schedules and I think the Oregon always gets a bye before UW thing was overblown and it really just stemmed from one game in the 90s.

There was a time in the Paleozoic Era when Oregon hosted the game like three years in a row and something like 5 of 7 or 6 of 8 years.
-
I think the 70 game counts as two. The John Ross of rivalry games.
Oh and we didn’t want DeBoer anyways… -
Fuckin Lambo🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️

Oregon hosted the '85, '87 and '88 games at Autzen. But then when UW hosted the '89, '90 and '91 games at Husky Stadium, Rich Brooks complained about it as being unfair.

I know they played at Autzen in 04, 05, and 06 I think to make up for some ancient grievance. It ended up not mattering much because Washington sucked but it was weird and combined with not playing each other in 01. They played 6/8 in Eugene.
Not playing each other in 01 was another special Pac-12 thing since Oregon was the preseason conference favorite and Washington was defending champs and #2 and Oregon had to some to Seattle after being Washington's only loss in Eugene the year before. How stupid are you to not sell that game?

imagine Rich Brooks complaining about home schedules before Duck football was even invented!
-
And how many games were played in Portland? UW has played waaaaay more home games in the series than Oregon has.
This shit reminds me of some dumb doog bitch whining about Oregon getting a bye before UW when UW had had a bye before Oregon 3 fucking years in a row.

It's tru, Portland is a UW town.
