Diary of a Madman - Ozzy Osborne
This was tough.
I opted for DOAMM over Paranoid. Black Sabbath to me was more riff oriented. Paranoid certainly has the riffs. DOAMM has some riffs and more vocals. -
Into the Void - Black Sabbath
I think it's a great poll to differentiate the musical tastes here. Tommy Iommi was not a technically proficient shredder in any sense of the label, so naturally stuff like Into to the Void which is the thickest and sludgiest riff in the history of rock is gonna appeal to the @YellowSnow crowd. @BleachedAnusDawg type peeps are gonna gravitate to the playing of Randy Rhoads.

Diary of a Madman - Ozzy Osborne
Sabbath is essential to the start of metal, but Ozzy, as a frontman, is better on his solo stuff.

F.O. Row Peter Puffer, you left off....
I have a soft spot of Ozzmosis. Zakk Wylde guitar at some of its best. The chorus lyrics are hella goofy but Perry Mason turned up is a banger. Very tough list. My top 4: Ozzmosis, Blizzard of Oz, Paranoid, and No More Tears. Some good shit all around.

Diary of a Madman - Ozzy Osborne
I kind of stopped listening to Ozzy after No Rest For the Wicked. After that, my gaze moved over to grunge and other things
As for Black Sabbath, I do love all the Ozzy stuff as it is the riff and sludge you mentioned. I do like a few of the Dio fronted songs but can only name like five. Alter that, the Gillen/Tony Martin stuff I never listened to ever.

Into the Void - Black Sabbath
My brain is melting again

Into the Void - Black Sabbath
Plus I fucked things up calling "Master of Reality" by mistake "Into the Void". Freudian slip as Into the Void is my favorite Ozzy track of all time.

Into the Void - Black Sabbath
It’s probably the most influential album in heavy metal

Into the Void - Black Sabbath
No More Tears is a great album and made Lemmy a shitload of money for songwriting credits
