ASU's OC Norvell is the big reason behind their success not Graham. He's from that Malzahn coaching tree. Their offense has been great every year and they've done it with a mediocre OL and very few top skill recruits. They've also been in the same offense for three years whereas UW's guys are now in their third different offense in three seasons. Miles looked fine last year with a run game and threats like Smith and ASJ…that is similar to how Bercovici looks so far.
Up to 81% of the reason Miles looked incompetent was because of Stanford. Petersen has a track record that suggests he can figure out how to make the offense work despite Miles having a few issues.
