Casey Paus could not reliably throw beyond the line of scrimmage

I never thought about the possibility of Reggie and Stevens together in 2002. That team probably goes 9-4 instead of 7-6

Yeah, Stevens was only a sophomore in 2000 then basically missed 2001 other than the Holiday Bowl so that was the one game he played with Reggie and Reggie took a big leap from 2001 to 2002.
