He was basically considered the best guard in the country for two years straight but had injury issues his last year that he played through. I think it was his back.
I think he came out early knowing he had a shorter shelf life as a pro but still lasted a decent amount t of years with the titans if I remember correctly. Was a good pro too but that's why he fell.Kreutz, Olson and Dillon/Shehee was absolutely filthy. Lambo losing games with them was a joke.

I wanted to make it close to reflecting an actual roster so had to make some tough cuts. Here's some players who were really hard to cut.
QB - Sixkiller, Billy Joe Camaro
RB - Polk, Sankey, Steele
TE - Conwell - I'll note that Jerramy Stevens gets bumped down a lot for his legit terrible character stuff but he was easily the best TE I've ever seen at UW. He was like bigger, smoother, tougher ASJ. Guy could have been like Gronk if he wasn't a sketchy psycho and it's an underrated bad break he basically missed all of 2001. Imagine him and prime Reggie in 2002.
OL - Need to note I absolutely just forgot to include Fautanu. Greatest OT in my opinion is between him and Big Linc
DE - Seems like this wasn't a very important position prior to like the 90s? There's not many important Huskies before then.
DT - Danny Shelton, Dave Pear
CB - Kevin King, Kyler Gordon
S - Same as DE - seems like this position wasn't very valued prior to the 90s
I'd be interested to see how this roster stacks up against the rest of the Pac-10 over the years. My assumption is USC would clear it easily and it would be close around UCLA. Stanford could be sneaky as a program that consistently seems to have singular great players.

A lot of good choices there. I would have to include both Chris Polk and Bishop Sankey in the RB depth, Fautanu somewhere on the OL, and would find spots for Donald Butler and Marquis Cooper at linebacker. Not much else worth quibbling about though

Maybe you can write something shorter than a book and find buyer for it (not sure how that game is played)… I don't remember seeing much on Wilson but 60 years ago everybody agreed he was the greatest Husky according to the news.

Now someone should do a worst of depth chart. Maybe it will be me, but my memory doesn't go back past 1990 so it would be a biased list.
