Thanks Taft!
-
his No. 1 is an absolute shocker
-
Damon is #1 on his list. Shocker.
-
plagiarism… shit … fucko
At least I didn’t spoil the punchline -
Damon is a program builder
Ask Oregon

Sven

I'm on team Damon. I like his upside.
-
We? hire Damon… Oregon hires Wheaton. Can’t win. The script.
-
Hiring Huard sounds like "good old boy network 101" lessons. Hire a real AD. And also, hire a football coach that played football who does not hire coordinators out of the famous names pool.
-
You and your 4 minutes.
-
I don't fucking care who they hire, but whoever it is better be able to successfully blow donors and sell their soul for football championships.

The goal isn’t to compete with CWU.
Hope this helps..
-
AOG doesn't like it, which means Damon would be an ace hire.
Damon is a glad-hander who knows ball and wouldn't fuck around. Sign me up.
-
All kidding aside I’m good with Damon. There needs to be more people around the progrum who give a shit about it
-
Damon Huard, the AD who cares.
Damon Huard, the AD. Who cares?
I'm all in.
-
It's the poor program's version of hiring Lynn Swan for AD
-
Maybe Damon would be more Trev Alberts and less Lynn Swann, Mike Garrett or Pat Hayden.
-
Or Pat Haden.
Hiring Damon would be a limp-dick USC move.
-
I give you this exhibit of his decision making. Yeah Greengaterz, he's "knows ball" all right.
-
Brock doesn't know shit. The 4 candidates in the prior search, according to Caple, were the Toad from Tulane, Houston AD Chris Pezman, Delaware AD Chrissi Rawak, and Virginia deputy AD Ed Scott. I'd take Caple's word over Brock's any day of the week and twice on Sundays.
-
lmfao I clicked to make a joke about Damon being the candidate. Is this real life?
-
Too soon!
-
Caring helps a lot, people who are passionate about what they do are more likely to succeed, but they also need to be good at what they do, period.
I know Damon has experience with the progrum in a schmoozing capacity, so that means he will be a good choice to hire the next basketball coach?
They aren't mutually exclusive, obviously, but wouldn't it be nice to hire someone who has experience doing well at both things?
-
Too soon
-
@BleachedAnusDawg gives a shit about the program. Doesn't mean he should be AD.
-
Quit plagarism my shit, tafto!
-
I actually didn't see your post. LOL
-

That worked out well. Let's roll with Caple's choices again. Maybe we can get another bald interim AD? One can only hope. That way we can prepared in September for our real bald hire.
If y'all took Damon Huard and named him Joe Cuntingham, with no relation to the program, you'd likely be fine with it, by the sounds of it. FOH. Get the best man for the job. If it's Huard, that's great. If it isn't, that's also great. Huard being dismissed for no reason at this juncture? This aggression will not stand, man.

If Huard gets named, we will have the final piece of the puzzle that Phil Knight is UW’s master once and for all.
It makes too much sense in a bizarro world kind of way.
Edited to say I guess I do care who it is.
