If you were going to fire her it would be for DeBoer. Bama got him for 10 million a year. The way UW recovered from losing him was a credit to Cauce and the upper campus. Dannon Yogurt is a nobody. Fuck him

Fuck you Softy. This wasn’t AMC’s fault. CEOs and other execs LEAVE! quickly for other higher paying jobs all the time. And like DeBoer, I’m sure Dannen got a heads up through back channels that the Nebraska job was a real possibility, so that’s why he didn’t uproot his family. He only wanted them to deal with the hassle of moving once.
What I DO blame AMC for is giving a goddamn interview at the airport acting like a deer in headlights saying how surprised she was. That’s not bad bitch boss energy. I would have preferred for her to say, “I’m appointing (insert name) as interim AD, and we’re going to make a great hire.” Then she starts calling the list of prospective replacements THAT SHE ALWAYS HAS AT THE READY BECAUSE PEOPLE LEAVE ALL THE TIME!
I would laugh if AMC was announced as Harvard’s new president. That would be the perfect bookend to all this madness.

Jen and Dannon were just simply look bad for the school. That's about it. Neither are worth the money.
Deboer was a legit thing but now looking at it, Bama is paying him 10 mil/8 years for losing a Natty with someone else's players and his second choice for his quarterback. 25-3 is 25-3 but….I don't know man. I don't know. UW offered what, 9 and 4-5 years?
I guess the real problem is just that Nebraska SC and Bama have the full shares to just light money on fire and not give a fuck about that.

Thinking Dannen got a heads up over 5 months ago, right after he was hired, and him not choosing to move his family at that point is called bargaining.
It was definitely Cauce's fault that she made a stupid ass hire bringing Dannen in here.
