I can't remember if I said it here or in our group chat on WhatsApp. But Vanilla was bought out by a Virginia company. And my theory is that the new company wants their fingerprints on the product to make it feel like theirs. I could be wrong but that's my thought.
I loved the site the way it was. To me it was basically perfect.

At this point I'm sure you are as fed up if not more so with "New Vanilla" as the rest of us. Nothing to do but make jokes until "Classic Vanilla" is successfully brought back.(also a joke)
I could wax on about the tech sector and it's fetishization of change but I'll demure so as not to Hai up the place.
I'd settle for the quote function working properly at this point. At least embeds seem to be working 81% of the time now.
