going to ask a stupid question. Is this the same shit the USWMNT did where they convinced dumb fucks that they should be paid as much as the USMNT players even though they bring in a fraction of the revenue?
Title 9 has been the law of the land for 50 years and public funds go to the schools. Not even a Tug issue - more of a process It's Hard issue which has been the thing all along. If NIL is private they probably skirt it. If the legislature gets involved who knows?
If you flat our pay football players like some of you want you are most definitely going to have a problem if you don't pay equal to Muffy and the volleyball team.
Private funds shouldn't be subject to public records, particularly if the scholarship-athletes are not classified as employees.
If women's sports wants more money, they should market themselves better instead of trying to take from others. For the most part, they are already financial drains on Athletic Departments.
There will be T9 challenges to NIL going disproportionately to football players and other male athletes because lawyers like money too. I feel like I recall a challenge due to exposure differences by athletic departments (pushing men's sports more) subsequently impacting NIL opportunity being challenged under T9.
I don't think that holds up eventually since it is outside the school receiving funding but you never know these days.
FWIW Women's tennis gets equal prize money to the men in the 4 Grand Slams, despite men playing best of 5 sets and women best of 3. Men's ratings are typically better and obviously they are performing more labor for the same money. There aren't that many other co-run tournaments with the same level of players to compare prize money accordingly, and other than the 4 slams the events typically run by each tour even when in the same location. Men's prize money then outpaces the women's by a good amount.
Other than the USWMNT and Title 9 giving equal scholarships not many instances of everyone being equal.
So they care about title 9 as it pertains to how much a male swimmer makes in NIL, but they don’t care about it if he cuts his dick off and calls himself a girl. OK!
Every male athlete should just identify as female, and fuck all their numbers right in the pussy. California is such a retarded state. Gotta virtue signal any way they can as their ship sinks.
Title IX is one of those things that sounds good to the masses but when you dig into it is rather dubious. Its really a morally horrible process as it takes money from mostly Poor Minorities who are putting there life and health on the line that generates the revenue. Then gives that money to the sailing team that is full of rich kids. Please no person antidotes as im speaking in generalities and know that the above is not true in every case.

This is why football players won't be employees
is gender what they are born as or what they want to identify as for this purpose? #confused

God help us.
the only female NIL worth a damn
What would be the problem with used car dealers paying the football players? Bill Gates can just write a check directly to the player, right?
As of now yes

As far as UW is concerned, would it affect USC? Or just UCLA?
I don’t even think they to cut their dicks off. It just gets reclassified.

Title 9 worked to give women an opportunity to play sports. It always needed something to acknowledge who paid for it but no such luck
Point is college football has to deal with it. Or die and take everything with it
