Over/Under

forget Pellum. he's gone either way. but this is on the head coach.
I knew they'd lose this season. it's pretty axiomatic: while you don't need to be all world, you can't have a complete inability to stop the run and win in college football. how the fuck Oregon did what they did to Michigan State is a mystery ... albeit a mystery that will repeat itself, because they will bounce back and beat somebody, some fucking way, with that defense and o line.
can they beat furd and us and ucla? i'm guessing they take at least 1 out of those 3, potentially 2, but not all 3.

Win or lose, Kikaha is going to do unspeakable things to that Oregon left tackle. If we had an offense, I'd feel pretty good about that game simply based on the line mismatches.creepycoug said:on Helfrich surviving to coach next season?

I would bet on them losing either at Utah or at Oregon State. They seem to be able to get up for big games, so I would agree that they beat either UCLA, Stanford, UW.
Any team with a decent front 7 has got to be licking their chops right now. -

With the Stanford game fresh in my memory it is hard to imagine UW taking advantage of the weaknesses of Oregon. You need a quarterback. Solomon was a RS frosh but he made the plays. If MIles is not a retard I like our chances better than in years. But if we can't score we will waste what I expect to be a good defensive effort.

Anyone confident that our defense will do anything but roll over and piss itself at the mere sight of Mariota is a better doog than me. Maybe coach Kunt has squished out all the holtcoxian skittishness but I'll have to see it to believe it.
I say the Ducks lose to Utah and Furd but win the rest. -
Vegas Baby!!

Maybe Michigan St. just plays in a really terrible conference and isn't that good? Also, the announcers last night said the Oregon/Sparty game was closer than the score indicated (lol).creepycoug said:on Helfrich surviving to coach next season?

It hasn't played out yet, but if Sparty somehow loses to Bo Pellini tomorrow then it will have played out. Either way it will be interesting? -
This. I'll believe a good UW defensive effort vs Oregon when I see it.chuck said:Anyone confident that our defense will do anything but roll over and piss itself at the mere sight of Mariota is a better doog than me. Too many Mariota 30 yards runs on 3rd and 15. -
I'm not sure Mariota makes it through the UCLA game.
