What's the B1G record for sacks allowed in a season?

Just a random thought on a rainy, Wednesday morning

Thanks Taft!

* Dirty rainy Wednesday morning

I think we’re going to be fine
-
Northwestern and Indiana gonna bring the heat!
-
The o/u is 5. Also, let it play out.
-
Fisch just needs more tim.
-
The goal is to keep Will Rogers erect.
-
That’s kind of a strange goal for the coaching staff. Shouldn’t he see a doctor for help with that?
-
I know a guy on twitter named suburban kodiak that can help with that. I hear he’s great with recruits!
-
-
This shit happens every fucking off-season. It's not NBA fantasy basketball.
-
I'm totally confused here. Are we saying the level of roster upheaval in 2024 is "normal" even for the current era of college football?
I've already conceded 2024 to the local Ducktards of Deschutes County while waiting for 2025 and beyond.
-

-
Hang the banner?
-
I think it's going to be the new normal and UW just happened to be one of the first teams to get bit. We're setting trends on Montlake. Also, we've had guys come back. Let's see how the roster upheaval really shakes out. Can't count the guys who were gone anyway.
-
I'm saying that a bunch of cfb fans look at known players, transfer guys etc and say "Oh this team's going to suck or be great" like they're looking at an NBA fantasy basketball team when in CFB there's way more variance in new players coming out of nowhere, or existing players getting hurt or regressing.
It's not the pros. You don't have nearly the amount of turnover in the pros.
For a month it's been a bunch of people acting like this is going to be Mel Tucker's MSU team.
-
Duly noted. Thanks for the clarification.
I'm in the 7-5 is the over/under camp right now.
-
Stalin gets it.

#4 in Eugene in the bag
Stop acting like fags

Many are stuck in this headspace that this incomplete conglomeration of dudes, on January 31st, months before spring camp, with a new and incomplete coaching staff, is what we are going into the season with as if we are fixed in time. Moreover, they're making predictions based on this assumption and forming camps. It truly is a mass psychosis.
-
It's awfully warm for late November and lots can change between now and then. Hopefully the Ducks fly on a 737 MAX.
-
-
Which, let's be clear, fucking sucks.
College football turning into a one-year rotational program where dumbfucks like Jabar Muhammed wear three different jerseys is wildly unappealing.
-
Gurgle can finally retire and We are Marshall will be the new rally cry.
-
This is the crux of the issue.
Penix on the one hand is a clear case of a moral and just transfer portal career move.
The Profit Muhammad ( citation @BleachedAnusDawg ) and the other 30 douche canoes who test the portal every year are shit AF.

I can see why the NCAA did as much as they could to prevent the players from being paid and having unrestricted free agency and limitless budgets
Now if the NCAA could actually do something about all of this, that'd be great
-
I’m sure the NCAA has this issue firmly in hand
-
They prevented the players from being paid because
1. A lot of college fans hold the laughable premise that ncaa ball is an even playing field
2. Ncaa CERTAINLY doesn't want to share any revenue and if teams had a "cap" to money paid, it either comes from the university or the ncaa, and if from the university it shatters the even playing field notion when some shit school doesn't want to pay if not cap then for flying out/hosting recruits

RE: The O Line and sacks is it possible WE could do one of those offenses that gets the ball out quick after the Petersen/Lake era of slow-moving play action with limited route trees and the DeBoer thing which relied on Penix avoiding sacks in the pocket and superb pass pro from running backs?
