Penix didn’t seem that into the interaction upon close review.
Assuming that DeBoer and Penix hadn't already seen each other and talked prior to what happens in this video, the initial reception from Penix is pretty cold.
More telling is that when DeBoer sees Penix and decides to approach him, his first move is to put his sunglasses ON. Indicative of a guy that feels uncomfortable in the situation. Given the accomplishments those two guys shared over the past 2 years, that shouldn't have been uncomfortable for either of them and it obviously was.
