HuskyFanPodcast: Stanford Review & Analysis

I found it to be juvenile and repetitive.
-
Shallow AND pedantic.
-
It was great discussion and solid content all the way through.
-
Enjoyed the supercanuck rant...luring doog of the week for a short 5-10 minute interview would be Nick Holt awesome. Wine of the week will get old if it's overplayed each podcast, missed the weekly LP3 rant. Mrs. Chest had nothing to add? DM.c is unreadable, I would prefer Kim get Ebola. I'm with Road, 10-3 is still very much in play with Peterman.

Best cast to date.

Great poad, enjoyed it.
Reminded me again how moronic the OKG thing is from all angles. It's Petersen's brand of coach-speak, all it is. -
@HeretoBeatmyChest leader in the clubhouse for doog of the week for your next pocast in a landslide.ThomasFremont said:FREE PUB!!1!

Maybe discussed elsewhere and I missed it, but what has UCLA done with Jack that we are not getting with Shaq in for a series or two a game? Better O-line push? Is Jack a stronger runner than Shaq? I don't think I've seen UCLA use him like that this season outside of the Virginia game but everyone knows whats coming when Jack is in the game as well and they are not always successful stopping him. I'm still in the camp that thinks the occasional series with Shaq back there is warranted for the sheer bravado of telling the opponent D exactly what you are going to do and daring them to stop it - maybe not the best idea against the Stanford D but you don't know until you try it.
Great pod, my favorite of the season. Was ready to nominate all three of you for DotW for whiffing on Sooopercanook but, Sinceredawg, ho lee shit. Spot on. Any progress with getting him on the show?

@SpoonieLuv not in the middle of the store. They monitore this site so using said doog of the week won't help land the interview? Mods

I don't really understand what these charts try to show, but it's interesting either way.
FootballStudyHall.com: Week 5 Win Probability charts -
That big purple down line in the fourth quarter is the fake punt.
-
The charts show the win probability based on stats and circumstances I think.
I'm surprised we were over 50% for most of the second ex before the fake punt. I assume the fake punt took our win % from 57% down to maybe 42%. -

The podcast is getting better and better. Pretty much a must-listen for any Husky fan. Was surprised at how forgiving all three of you were over the fake punt. I guess we have to move on and not dwell, but damn I'm still hurting from that one. I wonder what the uninitiated think when they hear the 'Doog of the Week' stuff, haha. Must be so confused. Would be interesting to see what kind of unique download numbers we're looking at so far this year. I'm guessing Stanford will prove a lot more popular than, say, EWU.

We are averaging over 400 per episode. 1/3 to be close to 500 while the other 2/3 are 375-400.Gladstone said:The podcast is getting better and better. Pretty much a must-listen for any Husky fan. The question is probably similar for this website…how can we continue to grow past the current audience? We'll see where we are by the end of the season. -
Keep posting links to this place at reddit.com/cfb, the seattle times forums, oppositions scout message boards, etc.HeretoBeatmyChest said:

This place needs more P12 fans outside of UW/Oregon most of all, IMO. -

1) Try making up "insider stories" about "what you are hearing". Note: Stories in no way have to have any basis in fact.
2) Have interviews with recruits and ask if they shit or eat first in the morning. The creepier the questions the better.
3) ???
4) Profit -
Thanks Gladstone. We all hated the fake punt. Speaking for myself, I was pretty much over it by the time we did the podcast. I'm not at the point of losing my shit over anything yet. Now, if we play like shit against Cal and get plungered by Oregon, there will be a different tone.Gladstone said:The podcast is getting better and better. Pretty much a must-listen for any Husky fan. Thanks for the post Gladstone. Like road mentioned I had cooled off on the punt but I drove people nuts bitching about it Saturday, all day Sunday and Monday....haha

Good podcast. You should have a segment dedicated to ripping Kim and Doogman in every podcast. It doesn't get more entertaining than when you guys rip them a new one.

More cussing, more rants, more f-bombs! More Hardcore! Show is great.
