The only reason why we even have St Haden Day is because Carroll opened up the USC position to save us from mediocrity -
1. He wouldn't care as much about the money. More of it used to balance the budget.
2. Like Petersen's brand, his will be used to bring in talent, both coaches and players.
I don't hate it. Like Harbaugh he's built more for college but is just that rare coach that can win the league too. -
St Haden freed us from the shackles of mediocrity and rule under a fraudulent king, which led to a new king from the near East who led us to the edge of the promised land. Forever grateful to St Haden.whatshouldicareabout said:

If Byrne achieves sainthood, it will be for his wisdom in freeing us from another fraudulent king, a king who used his subjects in an egregious manner. St Byrne will have opened the way for the king who leads us not only to the edge of the promised land but to the center of the promised land for Huskies everywhere to rejoice in. Let us prey as dawgs for this to be the outcome.
