PC is basically a 72 year old Prime.

Imagine the coordinators he could pull. He'd probably just want to have fun and get some badass coordinators to do the work for him but while he recruited kids againbigcc said:
Yeah he had one season without a winning record (7-10) in the past 12 years in the nfl, what a loser 🙄IslandDawg said:Don’t any of you watch the Seahawks? He is a defensive minded coach and his defenses have sucked for years.
I think he is past his prime. He would probably bring back Asa. -
I'd happily take prime for a year for recruiting momentum if nothing elsedtd said:PC is basically a 72 year old Prime.
Wouldn't be any worse than grubb, at least deion would bring talent along, grubb is the same we're at minus more than half of the starters gone -
I’m interested in knowing what Pete would have in mind for a staff if he returned to CFB, at UW or somewhere else. With the right staff, and no reason to doubt he could pull one that works in this era, I’m in. Feels like this could be anywhere from a .01% chance to a shoe in. Pete wants to coach for sure, just don’t know where else it would be if not here and now.

PC makes sense, in part, because it would being a ton of positivity to a program that uh, needs some of that shit right now.bigcc said:

Whoever Pete hired would know Pete has a few years tops before they could maybe take over, and at the very least get a lot of national television time because CBS execs would jizz their pants at the prospect of Pete back in collegeFireTheJanitor said:I’m interested in knowing what Pete would have in mind for a staff if he returned to CFB, at UW or somewhere else. Regardless of who is HC, I'd take Tedford at OC in a heartbeat...dtd said:

He'd unironically be a great foil to Pete's character both on and off the field -
We thought the last 4 months were wild. Nah, Pete Carroll is about be UWs head coach in a miraculous twist of fate. Doogs throughout the land will howl from the mountaintops. I need this.dtd said:

Although I still think this is mostly horse shit, I can't think of a better coach than PC to instantly rejuvenate life back into the culture. It might not work but at the very least he could ressurect it and hand it off to someone in a couple of years.

The star power around Pete back in college would be off the charts.JoeEDangerously said: -
He's by no means a long term solution, but he's 19-8 last two years, and OC is significantly less involvement/stress (admittedly that's not saying much), than running an entire programHouhusky said:

It doesn't matter because he'd sooner retire, but it's silly to pretend he wouldn't be a good OC.... If we hire the right guy he'll be gone in a few years anyways (unless promoted for Pete carroll retirement.... Speaking it into existence) -
UW should take west coast hall of fame coaches with the sole mission to fuck shit up in the B1G
-
Mentioned it before, but he'd have cream of the crop for coordinators knowing the attention they'd get and that Pete has a few years left topsPostal91 said:

I'm sorry, you go in to a room and unzip and ask the question how many coaches in college football have won both a national championship and a super bowl. Come play for the dawgs.

I LOL'd. Thank you.JoeEDangerously said:
Pete? He's bringing his own luggage with him and it's...a Tumi aluminum carry on? -
Uh, dude has won 2 natties and a SB. Had one of the most dominant runs in college football history. Ace recruiter who knows football. Charismatic. The only knock on him is his age, but he still seems to have the energy of a young man. He would KILL at UW. But, as many of you have pointed, it won't happen because it makes too much sense.
-
I will believe that he is coming until he is not. Just as I believed the snake was gone until he was not.digits said:Uh, dude has won 2 natties and a SB. Pete would love to be here, that would be epic and he would be loved.
Fuck, I'm already selling myself on this and setting myself up for disappointment shit -
I don't think you'll be disappointed even if it isn't PC. If Fisch brings Fifita and TMac the doog charge here will power King county for a week.Postal91 said:
