That's another thing I've been thinking about. The thousands of fans and former players who spent thousands of dollars to go to Houston to really start this renaissance. To announce our presence on the stage. Year 2 of KD, full of hopes and dreams. "This is just the beginning". To show out, honor our presence on the national stage, win or lose, and show the cfb world who we are. And then we lost, but easily could have won. And then KD burns it all the fuck down. I’m one of those fans who went with his wife to both New Orleans and Houston. I avoided thinking about how much money I was spending since Husky football was back from the dead, but now that it’s over I look back and see we spent $3,100 on NOLA and $3,500 on Houston just for flights, tickets, and hotel (excluding meals, drinks, taxis, etc.). All so that piece of shit could get his ass rammed by Michigan while he was dreaming of Tusca-fucking-loosa.
Went to the fucking tailgate in Houston and saw numerous Husky legends walking around, excited to associate themselves with a program that cared. DeBoer shit all over their faces too. -
I’m just gonna own it and say it’s almost embarrassing how mad this shit can make me. And it’s been a long fucking time until the anger felt this intense.
As much as this shit sucks, I’m not taking this as a complete failure on the face of UW. Yes, I’m sure hindsight is going to allow for an evisceration of Troy Dannen. Fuck Troy Dannen though. He’s not Husky football. Send him back to New Orleans on the next fucking flight for all I care. I’m not going anywhere because of all the guys I mentioned earlier and the 100s of others I’m too pissed to type right now.

I gotta evaluate Troy in Fall. Huge possibility this had nothing to do with him, which makes it even worse for a variety of reasons. Let's see how Troy responds. What other options are there? No regrets going to Houston, seeing former Husky players and coaches, drinking with random fans all over the city, watching my dawgs play in the NC, all worth the money.
