If he actually stays, he put us through this torture for our own good because he's been in the office with the AD for hours getting mega upgrades to the football program. He's a lifer if that's how it plays out.

After Dan Lanning turned them down, their 3 top choices were widely reported to be DeBoer, Norvell and Reese.
If DeBoer turns them down, Reese would be the only one remaining.
